Halloween has always been an odd one, I’m not keen on bringing zombies, blood, gore, clowns (I cannot deal with clowns, ever.) into real life – I like that they can left to the imagination and be found when you so wish. Rather than forced upon you. Saying that, I very much enjoy thrillers!
When I was younger, we always enjoyed light parties – which is as it says on the tin, so that can leave you a bit unmotivated around Halloween!
However, come university, I decided to have a go.
I love the creative aspect of getting dressed up, fitting to a theme, and trying to be clever with one’s outfit. I had so much fun – it was hard at times to master, I had to test it a few times, but man, it was marvellous. I enjoyed watching people’s faces as they tried to work out firstly who it was behind the make up and secondly why on earth you’d choose either of them!
I have never incorporated my horse into anything – just because previous to the one I have now – there would be no way that he would want to be anywhere near any of that fun – but maybe next year. I need a shetland for that really…
Proud am I about these faces you will see below! We had a good time!
Do you dress up on Halloween? Do you like to bring your horse in too? Spread some light on the subject (!).
What can I do next time I feel like doing halloween?
